Health and Well Being

At Tambrey Primary School, we are committed to creating, and maintaining an environment where the health and wellbeing of our students and staff is highly valued. Our environment encourages and supports our students and staff to maintain and/or adopt healthy lifestyles. Everyone in our school community has a responsibility to maintain and support our healthy environment. All individuals have the right to choose their level of participation.

School Nurse

A School Health Nurse visits the school throughout the year providing the following: 

  • A full health assessment on all kindy children. This includes visual and hearing assessment. 
  • Hearing and visual testing on any children upon receival of a referral from parents. Please see your child’s teacher for the relevant form. 
  • Health promotion and health education within the school and community. 
  • Growth and development for year 6 students.

Dental Service

All students from Kindergarten to Year Six have the opportunity to access School Dental Care. Children at Tambrey Primary School attend the Dental Therapy Centre located at:
