Digital Technologies aims to develop the knowledge, understandings and skills required of students to be confident users of technology. Students learn through hands on exploration how digital systems, such as iPads, computers and robots work. They learn that digital systems can be used in purposeful ways such as to transform data into information and creatively communicate ideas. Computational strategies are taught to understand problems, and are then applied to creating programs and problem solving in coding. Emphasis is placed on cyber safety. Students learn how to navigate the internet safety and use technology responsibly.
