Health and Well Being

At Tambrey Primary School, we are committed to creating, and maintaining an environment where the health and wellbeing of our students and staff is highly valued. Our environment encourages and supports our students to maintain and/or adopt healthy lifestyles. Everyone in our school community has a responsibility to maintain and support our healthy environment. We take a comprehensive approach to support their mental, emotional, and physical health.

Student Services Team

Our Student Services Team consists of a Student Services Deputy, a Learning Support Coordinator and two School Psychologists. The Student Services Team meets regularly to discuss internal and external referrals and provide ongoing support to teachers, students and families. 

In addition to our Student Services Team, we also recognize the importance of engaging with external service providers to complement our efforts. We collaborate with a network of trusted external service providers who specialize in different areas of mental health and wellbeing. These professionals offer specialized services such as screening, therapy, psychiatric support and counseling. By working closely with these external service providers, we ensure that our students have access to a range of resources and expertise that cater to their individual needs.

Supporting student health and wellbeing is a top priority at Tambrey PS. We believe that a healthy mind and body are essential for academic success and personal growth. Our holistic approach to student support aims to equip our students with the tools and resilience they need to navigate the challenges of both their academic and personal lives.

We encourage students and families to reach out and take advantage of the support services available to them. Together, we can foster a supportive and nurturing environment that promotes student success and overall wellbeing.
